Best Answer:Hi Kurt,
Just simply remove the working good bulbs with wiring socket from the old tail light and install to this new tail light. It plug in just fine. This is the lens and housing assembly only.

My Jeep the break light and tail light don't work on the passenger side but the turn signal and backup light does. Could the circuit board be bad? Or would that be a different problem.Amber E.Mar 17, 2021

Aside from the circuit board, there might be other parts that could cause the issue. We highly recommend that a certified mechanic diagnose the vehicle to pinpoint what part needs replacement.

My taillight takes a 3157 bulb but I don’t think it is halogen . Is this built for halogen bulbs only? Does it come with the circuit board installed? It appears so from the pictures.Richard C.Jul 26, 2020

This part comes with circuit board but not the bulbs. It is originally intended for halogen bulbs but you can also use LED bulbs with the same socket type compared to halogen bulb.
