The Steering Wheel Lock Remover is used to remove and install lock plate snap rings on steering wheel columns. The extended yoke services both tilt-wheel and telescoping columns. The adapter is reversible with 9/16" x 18 on one side and 14 mm x 1.5 on the other.

Steering Wheel Lock Plate Remover
Affordable, durable Lock Plate removal tool
I'm restoring a 1993 Chevy Suburban and needed to pull my Steering wheel to replace the high beam activator slider. To disassemble the steering column to get to the part you have to pull the Steering wheel off and remove the lock plate. This lock plate puller is durable, made of heavy gauge steel with a comfortable plastic handle. The center bar threads onto the steering column giving a solid base to anchor the device to depress the lock plate. Best of all is that it is an affordable alternative to much more expensive tools. Highly Recommended!
