Black Max Series Shock
Great Foam Cell Technology and Look Slick on my 1990 Ford Bronco!
Shipping was faster than expected by 2 days! These Skyjacker Black Max look very slick on my 1990 Ford Bronco. The work very well too and were easy to install with a little pre-planning! After I figured out how to put the rubber grommet and the roll pin in using a rubber mallet and bench vise, they all went in very smoothly. On my Bronco, I didn’t need the roll pin for the upper bolt because the bolt/stud on the frame was made to fit snugly in the grommet of the shock without a roll pin. There were no instructions in the box but it was easy to figure out. I mounted my shocks with the boot up to help keep any water, mud, or dirt off the piston. The best thing about these shocks is they don’t automatically push out like gas filled shocks and can be pulled in or out easily to get the right length for installation.
