It actually depends on the type of shock absorber originally installed on your car to maintain the factory original and driving conditions it is designed for. This will also fit if you originally do not have the electronic suspension type. The HD is more stiffer since it is designed for heavy duty use and conditions such as sport street racing. While the performance type is not as stiff as of the heavy duty type and with considerable comfort for regular driving conditions even if the car is full.
