Q:Are there 1 or 2 secondary air injection valves, and should I replace both if so? Are they the same part if there is (2)? Toyota Tundra 2013 Base 8cyl 4.6 Can this be the reason for my acceleration problems? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Michael, thank you for reaching out. The 2013 Toyota Tundra Base with a 4.6-liter engine has two secondary air injection check valves. There are two different part numbers for each secondary air injection check valve of your vehicle. There are several reasons to acceleration problems, and I wouldn't be comfortable making a recommendation without physically inspecting the vehicle. We suggest that a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement. Should you need both the secondary air injection check valves for your vehicle, you can use this link to order the parts and take advantage of our low prices: https://www.carparts.com/secondary-air-injection-check-valve?&vehicle[cylinders]=8&vehicle[liter]=4%2E6&vehicle[submodel]=Base&vehicle[model]=Tundra&vehicle[make]=Toyota&vehicle[year]=2013&can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20240323 I hope this helps.
