A:BEST ANSWERHi Sue, I'm glad to assist you. As per checking, this fits a 1999 Dodge ram 1500. This will not work for 1989 year since that was the one on your selected Year, make and model. We do not carry the seat motor for your vehicle application-for the 1989. Still you can double check by following the steps below. I hope this helps.
