I purchased this as a replacement for the heater element on my 2003 Acura TL-S. The kit arrived but provided no instructions on how to incorporate it into the existing seat control circuits. I did not want to cut a hole in my seat and manually try to splice wires with no direction as to which wire went to the proper circuit.

With changing out the plug on the end of this to the original one that matches the factory this works perfect. I would say best design and fit for an aftermarket since you can no longer buy the SRX factory one

Mercedes factory pads are sewn to the seat cover. They also serve as part of the seat cushion. I made them fit by cutting the existing pad on both sides of the seam and inserting the new pad over it. It worked but I would not recommend this to your Mercedes customers without explaining this. Also the connectors did not fit so I cut them off and attached to the existing wire. This whole process,seat and back, took 7 hrs. Very labor intensive.
Mercedes will sell you new seat covers. $$$$$$$$$
