Product Questions & Answers

Q:Where is the igniter? Doesn't the coil fire the plugs. And what is the color of the wiring diagram? Show Less
Susan C.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Susan, The ignition ignitor is located inside the distributor. If you don't remove battery power, the potential of being shocked is extremely high. Step 2: Remove the engine cover. The distributor is commonly located in the passenger side on most smaller engines and on the driver side or behind the engine on V-8 engines. The spark plugs are fired directly from the coils. You do not have to worry about the wiring diagrams as this part is plug and play. Show less
