great deal on quality radiator
I needed a new radiator for my 2007 Toyota Tacoma V6 truck. The original has leaked since the day I bought the truck new, but I was too lazy to take it back in (I know, I know...I should have taken it back to the dealer, but I just didn't). Anyway, 3 years later I decided to replace it so I wouldn't have to keep pouring coolant in my radiator every other week. This radiator was least expensive that the company carried that would fit my truck. It looked great when I got it out of the box. It was packed right from the manufacturer and that's important for shipping radiators. It only took about 45 minutes to put it in working in my driveway with a couple of wrenches and my "how-to" repair manual. The radiator was a direct fit, so I didn't have to use any of those 'universal' fitting things that never seem to fit anything quite right. The quality seems equivalent to the OEM radiator, and it actually looks exactly the same as the original with the exception of two brass fittings that are plastic on the original. I prefer the brass fittings that are on this one over plastic. Like most radiators, it was just a "plug-and-play" type of installation. I've run this radiator HARD in the past 3 weeks from 104 degree temps in Memphis down to the same heat in Alabama with no issues arising from this radiator at all. I'd highly recommend this radiator to anyone looking for a quality replacement. PS- I didn't just rate this radiator 5 stars out of 5 stars for nothing. It really performs at the 5 star level.
