Best Answer:Hi Daniel, I'm pleased to assist you. The "proper" way to replace the radiator support is to do what the factory does. Some rad supports are bolted in by some manufacturers of cars and trucks. However, if it was welded it was probably designed that way for a reason and should be welded when replaced.
