Q:2019 GMC Acadia where is the Thermostat located?
Victor
A:BEST ANSWERHi Victor, I'm pleased to assist you. The thermostat in a 2019 GMC Acadia is located under the intake manifold, on the passenger side of the engine. It is bolted to the engine block and has two hoses connected to it: one from the upper radiator hose and one to the water pump. To access the thermostat, you will need to remove the intake manifold. This is a complex job that should be done by a qualified mechanic. We have the thermostat with the housing and the thermostat gasket. Let me provide you with the two links below to complete your order while supplies last. Thermostat housing - https://www.carparts.com/search?q=thermostat_housing&vehicle[model]=Acadia&vehicle[make]=GMC&vehicle[year]=2019&can=CPGG4850_CSQA_20231024 Thermostat gasket - https://www.carparts.com/search?q=thermostat_gasket&vehicle[model]=Acadia&vehicle[make]=GMC&vehicle[year]=2019&can=CPGG4850_CSQA_20231024 The part that you have chosen is a purge valve which you may also need to replace. If so, use the link below to directly place your order while supplies last.
