Q:Why won't my oil pickup fit inside the oil pump?
Brian B.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Brian, I'm glad to assist you. The oil pump re-circulates engine oil under pressure to the bearings, pistons and the camshaft. If the pressure reading on your gauge drops from a normal reading, the pump could be failing already. Low oil pressure means the pump isn't circulating enough oil, or there isn't enough oil in the system for the pump to circulate. Take advantage of our sale price promo for this oil pump. P2285 Code: Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit LowOn diesel vehicles with a hydraulic electronic unit injector (HEUI) fuel system, the injector pressure regulator (IPR) regulates the oil pressure going to the injectors.
