This part from the cat converter back fit my 1997 318i perfectly. It arrived in a few days with no shipping charge. I removed the old one and put the new one in less than an hour. It is well made (in Belgium) and replaced the original to a T. Great price, you won't find it cheaper.

Good Value
Just got this installed on my 1991 318is about a month ago, and for the money it was a good purchase. However, if you are expecting similar sound quality, and performance as a high end muffler then you are looking in the wrong place. The BOSAL muffler is very raspy below 35K RPM, however as soon as this is passed, the muffler takes on a more throaty, deep sound. At idle the muffler is very quiet. This is good purchase for anyone looking to replace a muffler, that uses their bimmer on a daily commute, and isn't looking for performance gains.
