Q:There is a clunking sound when I go over a bump in the your side front of my car what would that be does anybody know? Show Less
Randall U.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Randall, I'm glad to assist you. It could be a loose bushing or ball joint on a control arm. It can also be loose bushings on the sway bar link. There is also the outer tie rod ball joint, which can be the source of the noise if it is already loose. Please have it assessed by a mechanic so all the parts can be identified. We need a list of the parts identified to be bad. Then, you can order those parts from us. Show less

Shopping for Mitsubishi Lancer Parts

The Mitsubishi Lancer is adored for its distinctly Japanese sporty styling. It’s unfortunate that it was discontinued in 2017, but the Lancer continues to be historic in how it evolved from being an affordable box-type vehicle to a sporty, compact sedan. As time passes, Mitsubishi Lancers need their fair share of repairs. Luckily, CarParts.com has a catalog of competitively priced parts for the Mitsubishi Lancer.

Mitsubishi Lancer: Commonly Replaced Parts

An annoying issue that Mitsubishi Lancer owners have encountered is its automatic transmission’s tendency to fail prematurely. This is typically signified by abrupt downshifts that create unsettling vibrations and noise. Owners have also reported not being able to upshift after reaching a certain gear. Fixing this issue would require you to overhaul or replace your Lancer’s transmission.

Another common problem with the Mitsubishi Lancer is overheating, which stems from a failed cooling fan controller. Without enough air flowing through the radiator, the car’s cooling system won’t be able to cool the engine enough. Sometimes called the auxiliary fan control unit, this part controls an auxiliary fan’s speed and operation. To fix this issue, simply replace the faulty cooling fan controller.

Whatever your Mitsubishi Lancer’s year model is, it will be reliable as long as it’s well-maintained. It’s a good thing that CarParts.com is a one-stop shop for aftermarket replacement parts, so that you can easily fix up your Mitsubishi Lancer.

Mitsubishi Lancer Aftermarket Parts

If you’re looking to get the most out of your money, then buying Mitsubishi Lancer aftermarket parts is the way to go. Aftermarket parts cost less than their OE counterparts. They’re made with the same specifications and undergo the same quality control standards. You can be confident that aftermarket parts are built to last.

Aside from quality and reliability, buying aftermarket parts also allows you to choose between different brands and manufacturers. The diversity in choices allows you to replace a worn-out part with one that offers better performance or a different look.

Why Buy Mitsubishi Lancer Parts Online from CarParts.com?

Our  Mitsubishi Lancer parts catalog is curated to only have high-quality, OE-grade replacement parts from industry-leading manufacturers. They’re also priced competitively, so you don’t have to break the bank to fix your car.
