Be assured, I will be helping you in resolving this concern. As to the Mirror, maybe you could try unplugging the wire to see if the mirror starts working. Fair, but not the same as OEM
Part was a direct fit and cosmetic match. Shipping was fast. But the left-right motorized adjustment is backwards (reversed) from how it should be using the adjustment buttons (probably mine was just miswired in the connector - I'm sure I could fix by removing the door panel again and swapping the left-right motor contacts in the connector). The black plastic is soft compared to the factory version. And worst of all, there is a vibration in the mirror when driving at highway speeds - the factory version was completely firm. For the price, it's OK, but not great. As another reviewer said, the OEM factory painted cover will fit directly (if the original is not damaged) - this was the main reason I purchased, so I didn't have to paint or repaint a new mirror.
