the photo appears to show a gap between the cover assy. and the mounting base. The cover assy on the opposite (passenger side) of my car fits snugly to the base so that there is no apparent gap. If the cover is not fully engaged in your photo that would explain the gap.  Otherwise it does not look like an exact replacement.  Can you explain?John L.Dec 15, 2021
