Can a heated mirror go in place of the original mirror that wasn’t heated?Alex D.Oct 06, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Alex, The connector for the mirror might be the same whether it's heated or not (but I can't promise you that). The only difference is the feed wire to the mirror heaters. The heated mirror will 2 extra wires compared to the non-heated. Be aware that you must seal the electrical connector that powers the heated mirror. It could create problems down the road. Just take some electrical tape and cover the tip of the connector to seal it.

2011 Ford edge driver side mirror
This mirror was the right size for my 2011 edge. Others that I had purchased and sent back were to small. Problem when ordering there is no measurements for the size of mirror itself, but I was able to recognize different characteristics to identify it. Also the mirror only moves up and down there is no back and forth movement. Over all easy to install 15 minute job.
