Perfect fit
Despite the previous reviews left by others, I decided to order a set of these mirrors for my newly acquired company truck. I replaced the stock mirrors, that were not tow mirrors with this set. I read how the screws were too long and figured I could deal with that if it were the case. However, as it turns out, the screws are the perfect fit. The mirrors come with a plate that installs on the inside of the door and the screws go all the way through that plate. The plate is provided for extra support due to the additional weight of the tow mirrors versus the stock mirrors. So the reviewers that say the mirrors fell off probably didn't use the supporting plate. You have to get the nuts almost set, and then you can adjust the length by using a smaller socket on the very end of the screw. Tighten until you think the nut is tight and then go to the next one. Make several rounds doing this until you make a complete round and none of the nuts will tighten more.

Happy with replacement
I bought this to replace the old side mirrors as one of them had completely broken and decided to upgrade to the tow mirrors. They fit perfectly. We did have to watch a youtube video to see how to install but my 16 yr old son was able to do it no problem.
