Passenger Side Mirror Glass, Heated, Without Blind Spot Feature
Passenger side mirror replacement, with ease
So, my passenger side rear view mirror just simply fell off while driving one day, just the mirror glass, not the housing. I guess this can happen about every 5 to 7 years with heated mirrors. who knew? I called the local VW dealer who said they could only order & replace the whole housing with the mirror, not just the mirror, & it was going to cost well over $200. Obviously, after a few words, I hung up & immediately went online & found several choices. The best deal I found was on CP for a total of only about $21 & that was with the shipping. There was an issue with the original shipment, which i never received, but I called CP & they immediately rushed another one to me, which I did receive. After checking out a couple of YT how to videos, it seemed easier than I thought. & minutes later it was installed....& for a lot less than $200+. Its been at least a couple of weeks now & the mirror still seems to be doing its job, just like the old one, & is still in place. If I ever need another car part in the future, I will definitely consider CP Thanx!
