How eady is it to remove existing mirror?  Any suggestions for tools to not damage housing?  How does the heated part connect?PatriciaJul 12, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Patricia, I'm glad to assist you. The mirror is clamped into the back on the motor bracket and also usually has a bit of sticky glue to reinforce the bracket holder of the mirror. You have to hold the mirror evenly on all sides and pop it forward in a fast sudden manner. The mirror has a wire socket at the back plate to re attach for the heating feature. Still, please consult with your trusted local auto repair shop since removal of the mirror requires experience and using the right tools and proper technique.
