Q:Where is the plastic line at under the plug is it center or offset ?
Brent P.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Brent, One rib is in the center and the other is offset to the side. Be sure and double-check to press down on the top of the coil until you feel it seated well on the plug. Doesn't hurt to spray some contact cleaner on the connections while you are there. Very easy to install. Show less

Shopping for Mini Cooper Parts

Your Mini Cooper may be a small economy car, but it has a punchy engine, boasts adept handling, and features a sporty look, making it a standout on the highway. But just like any other vehicle, it’s not exempted from having worn-out or damaged parts that may affect its drivability and style. The good news is that here at CarParts.com, we’ve got a great selection of heavy-duty Mini Cooper replacement parts and upgrades guaranteed to restore your daily driver’s performance.

Mini Cooper: Commonly Replaced Parts

The Mini Cooper is a subcompact car that sits lower to the ground than most vehicles. Because of this, many drivers often hit the curb, damaging the car’s plastic radiator support. Front-end collisions may also damage the car’s coolant hose and cause the engine to overheat.

Clutch failure is also a commonly reported issue found in 2002-2016 manual transmission Mini Coopers. Many drivers have complained about hearing metal-on-metal noises when releasing the clutch in first gear. Most of them also noticed a burning brake fluid smell from the engine.

As reliable as it is, your Mini Cooper may develop these problems and more as it racks up mileage. Good thing you can solve these issues by replacing faulty, damaged, or worn-out components. Here at CarParts.com, our top-notch Mini Cooper aftermarket replacement parts are on hand, so you can get your daily driver back on the road as soon as possible.

Mini Cooper Aftermarket Parts

Aftermarket parts are no different from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts in terms of quality and functionality. They’re designed according to OE specifications for a guaranteed fit. They have also passed strict quality control checks to ensure their durability and safety.

Aftermarket parts are priced more competitively than OEM parts, giving you the same quality as stock parts but at a lower price point. And because multiple brands manufacture the same products, you won’t have to wait long to get what you need when you choose the aftermarket route.
