The StrongArm lift support is made from a chromium-plated hardened steel rod and glossy finish heavy gauge steel body. It is designed with self-cleaning orifice that keeps the piston area free of contaminants, reduces clogging and prevents lock up.

Removing the old lifters required much more time than expected. Rather than a simple one-to-one trade out, the balls that hold the lifter arms to the frame on the Lexus would simply not release the old lifters. Consequently, I had to remove the balls on both ends of the old lifters. Perhaps a few more instructions would have helped on how to release the old lifters. Nonetheless, the lift arms look great and function well.
