So far, these devices are working just fine. The snap ring attachment for the bottom is not good. They were replaced with a bolt/nut fastener.

These hydraulic hood lifts work excellent. Was very easy to install.

It is a adequate lift. Found it difficult to seat the c-clam. With the 2 washers installed there was not enough of the bolt extending out to get the c-clamp into place. Had to use one less washer to allow the bolt to fully extend out to place the c-clamp into position. Also pay attention to the title of the product. I bought two passenger side lifts. That was not my intent. If you need both you need to order passenger and driver side lift. Live and learn to read the title. Only one was bad lift on my hood. It was the driver's side, so I figured out how to make it work with the existing parts and pieces of the old lift.
