The Lexus LX570 is a full-size SUV that's part of Lexus' LX series. Lexus, Toyota's premium automobile division, has been offering LX SUVs since 1996. Back then, LX SUVs still weren't as big as they are todayliterallysince they were only midsize vehicles before. The LX Series only shifted to being a full-size SUV product line for the second generation. And it wouldn't be until the third generation of the LX series before the LX570 would make its debut.
The world first got a glimpse of the Lexus LX570 during the 2007 New York International Auto Show. The LX570 received a significant styling overhaul that made it look distinctly different from the Lexus LX470 (the second-generation LX model). With the redesign, the LX570 became both slightly longer and wider than its predecessor. The LX570 hit car showrooms towards the latter part of 2007, and it continues to be sold up to this day (though it isn't sold in countries where the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is available). The LX570 is fitted with a V8 engine (there are three available V8 engines) that's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The most powerful V8 engine available for the LX570 enables it to have a towing capacity of as much as 8,500 lbs. The LX570 can definitely be a good towing vehicle, but it can be great for off-road driving as well. In fact, it was extensively tested in various off-road areas such as the Australian Outback, deserts, and subtropical forests. To make it better suited for such environments, the LX570 is equipped with off-road features such as a multi-terrain anti-lock braking system and an advanced version of the downhill assist control system.
Now, you may own a Lexus LX570 and utilize it for off-road driving. This makes it prone damage and higher levels of wear and tear. Be smart and always have Lexus LX570 spare parts on hand (such as tires) when driving on off-road trails.
