The LX570 is fitted with a V8 engine (there are three available V8 engines) that's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The most powerful V8 engine available for the LX570 enables it to have a towing capacity of as much as 8,500 lbs. The LX570 can definitely be a good towing vehicle, but it can be great for off-road driving as well. In fact, it was extensively tested in various off-road areas such as the Australian Outback, deserts, and subtropical forests. To make it better suited for such environments, the LX570 is equipped with off-road features such as a multi-terrain anti-lock braking system and an advanced version of the downhill assist control system.
