i have a 2005 tacoma with off road package ext. cab v6 have changed springs twice will not handle 2300 lb. boat also had factory recall on stock springs are these heavier than normal or are they going to straighten out and break?Richard C.Apr 01, 2021

I'm glad to help you out. This set of Dorman leaf springs are OE replacement, meaning these will be the same as the original ones from Toyota. We suggest checking on performance-type leaf springs for hauling and loading needs. Unfortunately, we currently don't carry them for the 2005 Tacoma, but you can reference brands like Skyjacker or Rancho just to name a few. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.
