U.S. Auto Parts Network, Inc. Announces New Date of Fourth Quarter and Year End 2006 Earnings Release and Conference Call
CARSON, Calif., March 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- U.S. Auto Parts Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRTS) announced today that it will report its financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2006, on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, after the market close.
The Company had previously scheduled this report for Monday, March 19, 2007, after the market close, but decided to move the call to Tuesday, March 20, 2007 to allow for the expiration of the 40 calendar day quiet period following the effective date of the Company's registration statement for its initial public offering. The quiet period is imposed by conduct rules of the National Association of Securities Dealers and New York Stock Exchange Rules upon the member firms who managed or co-managed the Company's initial public offering. During the quiet period these firms and their analysts are prohibited from publishing research or making any public appearances regarding the Company. The Company decided to move the earnings release one day to allow all firms and analysts who have an interest in the Company to have an equal opportunity to publish research or to publicly comment regarding the earnings.
The Company will conduct a conference call with analysts and investors following the earnings release on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 1:45 pm Pacific Time (4:45 pm Eastern Time). The conference call will be conducted by Mehran Nia, President and Chief Executive Officer, Howard Tong, Chief Operating Officer, and Michael McClane, Chief Financial Officer.
