This one we carry comes with 2 keys and an OE direct fit replacement for your selected vehicle application. This also comes with transponder key or with Immobilizer, up to production date 1/2/2003 as of the fitment details(please check the production date of your vehicle on the driver side door jamb). Show less

A:BEST ANSWERHi Mike, thank you for reaching out. The immobilizer is the anti-theft feature of the vehicle. It is an electronic security device fitted to a motor vehicle that prevents the engine from starting unless the correct key is present. This prevents the vehicle from being "hot wired" after entry has been achieved and thus reduces motor vehicle theft.
