Parts arrived in two days! Amazing! I Bought this lock cylinder along with the ignition switch to replace the original cylinder that had been destroyed during a theft attempt. It came with two keys. I probably didn't need the ignition switch, but considering my truck is 22 years old, I went ahead and bought it because of a stalling problem I was having before. The cylinder fit easily into the switch. I did put some grease on the outer surfaces and the pin at the bottom, just for good measure. You have to insert the key into the cylinder and turn it to the "ON" position for the cylinder to go into the switch lock. It only goes in this way, so don't try to force it. Once it clicks in, you're in business. The only issue I have is that with mine, there is not a positive stop at the point where you are able to remove the key. You kind of have to wiggle it sometimes. But that could be because of the ignition switch too. My steering wheel doesn't lock either, but that could be caused from the thieves damaging something else in the steering column. I'm not enough of a mechanic to know for sure, and it doesn't affect the operation of the cylinder. But for the sloppiness of the key removal, I have to give a four star rating.
