Shopping for Hyundai XG350 Parts

The South Korean automotive manufacturer Hyundai didn’t easily penetrate the North American market; it had to face a bit of a struggle. There were some dark days for Hyundai when it sold not as many vehicles as it could have hoped for, failing to match the success of Japanese vehicles in the market. It has, however, survived through the dark days. Part of its success in the luxury car segment in North America comes from the superb value it offers to car buyers. One of its luxury vehicles that have made a good impression is the Hyundai XG350. This flagship luxury vehicle had the interiors and luxuries comparable to vehicles from other brands. However, this came at a much lower price. The XG350 was first launched as the 2001 XG300 until it was renamed the following year.

2001-2002: The release of the XG300 sedan and the launch of the Hyundai XG350

Hyundai took some risks when it released the 2001 XG300 in the US. The 3L V6-powered sedan was one of the most expensive vehicles sold by the auto manufacturer from South Korea. It was its biggest venture at that time. Taking this move to the next level, it then used an engine with 3.5 L capacity, renaming the vehicle as the XG350 for 2002.

2004-2014: The XG350 over the years

The 2004 Hyundai XG350 came with some upgrades in performance and style. It was almost as long as the Toyota Avalon, with a length of 191.9 inches. It used a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V-6, which could generate up to 194 hp. At that time, the XG350 was the second most powerful Hyundai vehicle sold in the North American market, next to the Santa Fe SUV. Some of the functional improvements done on the said model included the use of front disc brakes with a larger diameter, rear discs, and ABS. A full-size spare tire on an alloy wheel was also added into the said model. Given its features, its base price remained in the modest range compared to other vehicles.

The 2004 model also sported a new face and a redesigned tail. Some of the revisions included the new grille and projector-beam headlights. The license plate holder was relocated to a recess part of the new deck lid. With some of the changes done, the vehicle got a striking resemblance with the DaimlerChrysler's Maybach. Both the XG350 and XG350L had these standard equipment and features: HomeLink garage-door opener, electrochromic rearview mirror, reading lights in the C-pillars, and cargo net in the trunk. The XG350 also had better interior design and features such as standard leather seats, nicely textured plastic components, and other nifty power accessories.

The Hyundai XG350 is rated as a competent, well-equipped road glider. It has a solid structure, adequate powertrain, and compliant suspension. Until 2014, the sedan is still sold in different countries such as South Korea and China and other markets such as the Middle East and America.

You’ve made a lot of memories with your Hyundai XG350, so it’s only natural that you’ve put in the work to keep it running like new. But even with proper maintenance, some of its parts can get damaged or wear out prematurely. To restore Hyundai XG350’s excellent condition, shop for replacement Hyundai parts here at CarParts.com. All of our products are competitively priced, so you don’t have to break the bank trying to repair your ride.

Hyundai XG350: Commonly Replaced Parts

If you’ve experienced problems with your Hyundai XG350, you’re definitely not the only one. A lot of owners of the Hyundai XG350 have experienced rough idling because of a faulty EGR switching valve. Replacing the damaged EGR switching valve should resolve this problem.

Another problem many owners of the Hyundai XG350 have complained about is poor shift quality. This can be caused by incorrect transmission fluid levels. Or it can also be because of outdated adaptive programming information. Replacing the transmission fluid and updating the software should improve shift quality.

Resolving these issues can be a nightmare, but with CarParts.com providing you with the parts you need, it doesn’t have to be. We offer a wide selection of Hyundai XG350 parts that match OE specifications to guarantee easy installation and reliable performance.

Hyundai XG350 Aftermarket Parts

Aftermarket parts are no different from OE parts in terms of quality and performance. Hyundai XG350 aftermarket parts are engineered in world-class facilities using premium materials. They follow OE specifications to ensure fit and durability.

Another benefit of choosing aftermarket replacement parts is that they’re cost-effective. They’re more affordable than their OE counterparts because they are made by more than one third-party manufacturer. Why spend hundreds or thousands of your hard-earned money when you can get the same fit and performance for a fraction of the cost of OE parts?
