Best Answer:Hi Tom, No. We have not received any reports of any bubbling paint on our body parts, even after years from the date of purchase. Occurrences like that would be more on the side of the ones who did the paint job and not on the hood per se. This hood is already primed and ready to be painted. A primer or undercoat has been applied as a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint. Enjoy shopping.
