My sway bar is on the left hand side of the hitch. Is this one piece or can it be assembled for a left side mount?Donna L.May 12, 2024
Best Answer:Hi Donna, I'm glad to assist you. It is one piece. This is a universal type of hitch ball mount, with all the specifications noted in the details. It is not a direct-fit vehicle-specific part. We do not know what set-up you have right now (you mentioned the sway bar on the left hand) and what your vehicle is, for us to check carefully. You can directly consult with Curt by emailing them, as well (<a href="https://www.curtmfg.com/contact" target="_blank">https://www.curtmfg.com/contact</a>). I hope this helps!

Could I tow a trailer with this hitch?A shopperMar 09, 2021
Best Answer:Hi, This is a universal hitch with a Maximum Gross Trailer Weight: 7000 lbs. The GVWR stands for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, and it's a number that represents the maximum value of what your vehicle can safely weigh including payload. To give you an example, your truck may have an 'empty' weight of 5,500 pounds (often called a “curb weight”) and a GVWR of 7,000 pounds. It depends on the weight of the trailer if it will not exceed the GVWR.
