Q:Have a 51 GMC  6 cyl.1/2 ton with a bad heater valve. Can I use this valve as a replacement? no thermostat control..simply on or off. Don't plan on using in winter. Just spring or fall temps. Heater core/fan.. is fine ..just need a valve of sorts ...thanks! Show Less
