Best Answer:Hi Paul, Do you mean the headlights on the vehicle are HID? Just as it is, the answer is, no, it will not plug and play. Yes, but you will need an HID Conversion Kit. Without the conversion kit, it will not work.

The bulb is wired in, no easy LED assembly
So I own a 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI SE. It's still in mint condition except for the passenger side headlight. It looked toasted in a yellowish hue and made the vehicle look poor. So I decided to replace it with the set I bought from this site. Everything was going well, I removed the headlamp from the body, and now it was time for me to install it when I tried to swap the old halogen bulb for a LED bulb I noticed there wireline attached to the bulb in the head lamp. It was especially odd since the old headlamp I COULD EASILY remove the bulb with no problem, this new lamp has the bulb wired up to the lamp itself. I'm wondering if there is a solution to this problem?
