Product Q&A

2009 Kia Optima LX. New passenger side headlight assembly installed. Turn signal does not work but lights up. Passenger side mirror turn signal and passenger side rear turn signal hyper blinks.  Any idea what's going on?BrianFeb 04, 2024
Best Answer:Hi Brian, I'm glad to assist you. The possible causes of this issue are: 1. Electrical connection issues include loose or faulty socket terminal connectors. 2. The hyperblinking of the working turn signals could indicate a faulty flasher relay. The flasher relay is responsible for regulating the speed of the turn signal blinking. If it's malfunctioning, it can cause abnormal blinking patterns. 3. Ensure that the new headlight assembly is properly grounded. Poor grounding can lead to electrical issues, including problems with turn signal functionality. 4. Faulty turn signal bulb. You can try to swap the bulb to test it on the other side. I hope this helps!

Customer Reviews

Product is great, shipping took too long. I got my shipping expedited and it still took a week to get here. Don't pay extra for fast shipping if it still takes a week to get here!
