Is it safe to use toothpaste in deoxidizing headlights with acrylic lens in an Oldsmobile Silhouette?
NO. While toothpaste is great for cleaning a glass headlight lens, it can damage the acrylic's UV layer, which protects the plastic compound from UV degradation.
