Product Questions & Answers

Q:I bought this for my 2500 2001 v8 suburban.  The part does not look like an exact fit.  On my truck there are two tanks, the fuel fill hose connects to the first tank and the vent hose is routed along the wheel well to the main tank via a steel pipe.  This part has both tubes connected. Is the fill tube suppose to be cut and then the vent tube routed separate? Show Less
Kenneth S.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Kenneth, I'm glad to assist you. No, this is a direct fit part and does not need to be cut. I have checked your order and saw that you ordered this for a 2001 Chevy Suburban 2500 LT 6.0L (also fits the 8.1L engine). This is the only part number option we have for the selected vehicle application. You can have this part returned for a refund. Please call our sales hotline and ask to be transferred to our returns department. A return authorization would be processed for you, and wait for the email instructions to return the part. I hope this helps. Show less
