Best Answer:Hi Robert, This part does not fit the 2005 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 8 Cyl 4.4L (only for 2006-2009). It is generally advisable to replace the fuel pump with the fuel sending unit. We do carry the direct-fit part for the vehicle and it is part number REPL314514 (with 1 electrical connector; 6-prong pin connector). Fast shipping and works great. Minus it has a extra connector that my truck didn’t have that will leave a open ground on one of the fuel sending units . Causing the truck to read no fuel . Using the old harness connector you can make a jumper to fix that issue .
