Q:On the Ford York compressors for the 1970 v8 models, when switching from R22 to 134a freon, do you need to switch to the type of oil for the 142a? Does all of the oil go into the York compressor and not into the freon lines? Can the new compressor be ordered with the appropriate amount of oil for 134a already in it? Thanks in advance. This is for my 1967 Thunderbird. Show Less

It comes with PAG oil already, but, manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill it with the proper PAG oil amount before loading it with the refrigerant R314a.
