My original fenders rusted out in 4.5 years. Are these better constructed to avoid this problem? Looks to me like on the originals that there is a trap where salt water can collect on an inner fender design which is located back lower side behind the front wheel. Very bad design by GM as I live in northern Minnesota where they salt the roads and keeping it clean didn't seem to help.Susan G.Jun 06, 2022
