Q:Will this fit an 08 impala 3.9l V6 doesn’t specify for v6 or v8?
James B.
A:BEST ANSWERHi James, I'm glad to assist you. No. These are not compatible. We currently don't carry direct-fit exhaust manifolds for the 2008 Impala 3.9L models. We suggest checking the local part stores around your area or the nearest GM dealership directly on what they have available to offer you. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring. Show less

People often think that the exhaust system of an automobile does nothing more than to discharge the waste products of the combustion process. Though, it is true to some extent. However, the way these waste products are discharged out of the engine is necessary to the performance of the car engine. Your vehicle's exhaust system has three major roles to perform, the first of which is to channel out the waste products of combustion out of the engine to allow it to burn fuel unimpeded continuously allowing the engine to run smoothly, this is to the help of exhaust manifolds.

The second function of your car's exhaust system is to trim down the noise produced by the engine. They do this function by letting the exhaust gases pas through metal plates and tubes called the muffler. As the gas passes through the muffler, the noise is abridged. And the third function of the exhaust system is to clean up the emissions which causes harm to the environment. Through the catalytic converter, the exhaust system cleans up the gases by breaking down the harmful gas compounds. Chemicals in the catalytic converter act as catalysts that changes the highly dangerous gas compounds to less destructive ones.

For an exhausts system to be effective, all the exhaust parts should work all together. Toyota Paseo exhaust parts like the mufflers, the exhaust manifolds, the catalytic converter and some exhaust parts should always be in good condition. New models of Toyota are also often equipped with an oxygen sensor that aids the regulation of fuel in the fuel injection process. If one part of Toyota Paseo exhaust is corroded, replace it right away. Replacements exhaust parts are offered in a variety of materials like steel, aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel. For your needed replacement Toyota Paseo exhaust parts, you can visit some auto parts dealer on the internet.
