My OEM number ( 8DO 863 823L )is different as is the Engine 1.8T so will the Splash Shield still fit my 2002 Passat? I've already ordered it and hope so!

The shield fit to specs. The replacement was not as thick and sturdy as original. I do believe it will provide proctection against bumps and scrapes.
