Q:Why was antifreeze coming out of my oil pan when I changed the oil?
Justin
A:BEST ANSWERHi Justin, I'm glad to help you out. Mechanics routinely check for a radiator leak when they change the oil or do other engine-related work. Most likely it's running down and around the pan gasket. You can mix oil and coolant and it'll separate itself. Antifreeze in oil is a sign of an internal leak and is usually caused by a bad gasket. I hope this helps. Show less
