Why does it say Non-removable PROM when the pictures show the Prom chip missing? Why isn't removable, is glued in now? What if I want to use my old chip like you normally do, so that it doesn't have to be reflashed?AZDrewOct 26, 2021

Best Answer:Hi Frank, All ECM units must be flashed on, vehicle specific on-car programming must be performed AFTER install to prevent drivability issues. You can have it flashed ON thru a dealership or local automotive shop.
