Collapsed length and extended length measuring from the mounting flanges?Rob V.May 02, 2020
Best Answer:I have a 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee 40 engine it came from the factory with constant velocity one End u joints the other. I have changed out the front differential. It now needs constant velocity both ends. With the weight on the vehicle it measures 34 1/2 inches flange to flange what driveshaft do I need.

I need to know if this fits. I got a 242 j transfer case. The last one I ordered from the same company it was too short. And I had to take the loss cuz I didn't know how to return it. So I just want to know if it fits to 242 j transfer case? I got a 1999 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 California the original transfer case was replaced. The one who got is a 242 j transfer case.
