Best Answer:Hi, This front driveshaft does not come with rubber boots. And driveshafts does not have rubber boots. The part you might be referring to is a CV axle assembly for the front left and right which has a rubber boot.

Bought this part to replace the original front drive shaft on my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 4.7L Perfect fit. Make sure you have an impact, those 4 bolts on the front were tough. Other than that, this part was a perfect match. Even comes with the grease zerk Very fast delivery as well. Would recommend!!

So far so good. Fit was right. Only issue is new bolts aren't provided on the cv joint end but you can use your olds ones provided u have them. Price was the cheapest around.
