As of our DIY information we have on our catalog;
Plastic door sill protectors
There are door sill protectors in the form of a plastic film. This type is very easy to install. You just cut the right size from the roll of plastic film and then stick it on your door sill. Only trouble is the bubbles that might form, so you'd have to smoothen it carefully to achieve that sleek look.
There are also door sill protectors made from molded-in, PVC plastic. Compared to the plastic film door sill protector, this one looks more durable and reliable. Installing it is easy, too. And you won't have worries about bubbles or an uneven finish.

Much modification required
Needed considerable customization to fit my door sill including flattening the edge contour. Double-faced tape could be improved upon too as I needed to purchase thicker tape to achieve adhesion. Perhaps the item fits many other models more completely. Nevertheless, the material appears to be durable.
