Best Answer:Kathy - This is most likely the correct part for your problem. I've had the same issue with doors not opening in the past and this little guy has solved it. Another possibility is that the outer handle on your driver's side door is damaged and not getting proper leverage to activate the opening mechanism. If you have a horizontal door lever, like on a Nissan pickup or other Japanese model, try looking under it to see if there's any damage.
