It states as being for the front . will they work on double side door and back doors as well ?? 1996 e-250Paul B.Dec 04, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Paul, This is basically not specifying front only(even our supplier's data sheet details), but it is common for the driver and passenger side door lock cylinder with keys. You can actually try to fit it if the hole diameter is the same and the rod mechanism hooks up fine to this door lock cylinders. I cannot find door lock cylinders for my 2003 Mazda B2300 extended cab pickup anywhere, and I don't understand why. Someone must make them. Every parts store I have checked tells me that the same year Ford Ranger won't work on my 2003 B2300. Can you help me?Kim TaylorJan 14, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Kim, I'm glad to assist you. Unfortunately, we also don't have one available. We suggest checking the local part stores around your area or the nearest Mazda dealership directly on what they have available to offer you. I hope this helps and happy shopping.

Is this a not very handy capable job I can do? The garage says it will be too expensive for them to do.DavidkNov 22, 2021
Best Answer:Hi David, I'm glad to assist you. We do not have a specific step guide for a DIY install. But, generally, it is moderately easy. You have to remove, unscrew first, the interior door handle. Then, Pry out the door window switch carefully to detach it from the door panel. Remove socket connector of door switch. Then carefully pry off the edges of the door-panel-trim with a thin edged fiber mallet to release the pins. Remove the door panel. Detach the plastic insulation of the door and remove the lock for the door lock cylinder. Replace the cylinder and do the same reverse procedure to install all the removed parts carefully. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps. Best Answer:Hi Peter, Yes, that would be the only option. You will have separate keys for the ignition and for the door locks.

Customer Reviews

Very easy to install. They fit and work great. None of my original locks worked well. Had to jiggle the key to get them to work. Very annoying. I ordered these and put them in and took the ignition lock out (also very easy) and took it to a lock smith and had it keyed to the new door locks for a small charge and now everything works perfectly with the same key. Simple.
