All doors unlock when the unlock button is depressed except for the drivers door. It will not open from the inside or outside. I hear it locking and unlocking but it just doesn’t quite unlock all the way. I rolled the window down and used a slim jim to assist opening. It will open and close fine in and out until I lock it again. Is it the latch assembly?Warren H.May 05, 2023

Best Answer:Hello! I recommend contacting a locksmith to help open the door. It can be very tricky to get access to the latch mechanism when it is stuck shut like that!

Exact fit, but no instructions. Not really necessary if you pay attention to how the old one comes out. Have to partially remove the window frame. And the little red plastic piece is removed after everything is connected.

finally got around to installing this. so it worked out with one minor modification, i plastic shroud needed to be cut off inorder to fit and put the lock hook on. now that it is installed no more listening to the warning tone for 60 seconds that the door is open when it is not. works great now.
