Product Questions & Answers

Q:Just installed new Dorman door latch actuator on my 2014 F150 rear driver side, original had begun to work intermittently. After new installation door ajar warning appears, it had not before.  Everything works perfectly but now I have door ajar warning. I bought my new actuator from Carparts.  Do you/we have a fix for this?? Show Less

A:BEST ANSWERHello! There should be a small adjustment in the actuator that can be used to ensure the microswitch is triggered for the door latch. If not in the actuator mounting, then perhaps in the door latch itself in the door jamb. Show less
